Veneers in Chembur

A veneer is a wafer-thin shell, usually porcelain or a composite material, bonded to the front of a tooth to change its shape, colour or position in the smile. It is one of the fastest ways to change how a smile looks, which is exactly why it needs care: done for the right reasons, veneers are transformative, and done for the wrong ones, they mean reshaping healthy teeth that did not need it.

Veneers in Chembur at The Dental House, Chembur
In short

Veneers are thin, custom shells bonded to the front of your teeth to reshape a smile affected by chips, stains, gaps or uneven teeth, and at The Dental House in Chembur they start from ₹8,000 per tooth. Cosmetic work here is led by Dr Niti Shah, who holds an MDS in Conservative Dentistry, and you see a DTS Pro digital preview of the planned result before any irreversible step. When aligning your own teeth first would mean fewer or no veneers, we will tell you. Treatment is quoted in writing and EMI is available.

That is the line Dr Niti Shah works to. Some smiles are better fixed by moving the teeth you already have, and if aligning first means fewer veneers or none at all, she will say so before anything irreversible happens. When veneers genuinely are the answer, you approve the exact look on a DTS Pro simulation first.

Right fit

Who this suits

  • Teeth that are chipped, worn or slightly broken at the edges
  • Deep stains that whitening cannot lift, such as tetracycline or fluorosis marks
  • Small gaps between front teeth that you would rather close cosmetically
  • Teeth that are slightly uneven or oddly shaped but well positioned
  • People planning a smile makeover who want a predictable, previewed result
Straight talk

When we will tell you no

An MDS specialist saying a treatment is wrong for you carries more weight than a clinic that offers only one thing.

  • If your main issue is crookedness, we will usually suggest aligners first. Veneering over misaligned teeth wastes healthy tooth structure to hide a problem that alignment solves properly.
  • If a tooth is heavily decayed or cracked, it may need a crown rather than a veneer, and we will tell you which one actually protects the tooth.
  • We do not talk anyone into a full set of veneers to match one discoloured tooth when a single veneer or whitening will do.
  • If you grind your teeth heavily at night, we will address that first, because grinding chips veneers, and we would rather protect the work than redo it.
How it works

Your treatment, step by step

In this order, because each step depends on what the one before it found. The equipment is named because it is real, and it is what makes each step work.

Smile assessment and shade planning

Dr Niti looks at your teeth, your gum line and how your smile sits in your face, then plans the shape and shade that will look natural rather than obvious.

A veneer that ignores the face around it looks like a veneer. Planning the smile as a whole is what keeps it believable.

See it first on DTS Pro

Before any tooth is touched, you see a digital simulation of the planned result and approve the look you want.

DTS Pro smile simulation

You are signing off on the final smile before anything irreversible happens, so there are no surprises at reveal.

Minimal preparation and a digital scan

Only the small amount of tooth surface needed is prepared, and a 3Shape TRIOS scan captures the teeth precisely for the lab.

3Shape TRIOS 3

A precise digital impression means the veneers fit at the edges, which is what keeps them looking seamless and staying clean.

Bonding your veneers

The finished veneers are bonded to the teeth and cured, then the bite and edges are checked and polished.

3M curing light

A properly cured bond is what holds a veneer for years. This step is where lasting work separates from work that lifts.

Questions

Answered by Dr Niti Shah Nagrath

How much do veneers cost in Chembur?
Veneers at The Dental House start from ₹8,000 per tooth. Composite veneers sit at the accessible end and porcelain costs more for its durability and stain resistance. You get a written quote after your smile assessment, and EMI is available for a full makeover.
Do veneers ruin your natural teeth?
A well-planned veneer removes only a very small amount of the tooth surface, and some composite cases need almost none. The risk of harm comes from veneering teeth that should have been aligned or left alone instead, which is exactly why Dr Niti will suggest aligners first when that is the better path.
Veneers or aligners, which do I need?
If your teeth are healthy but crooked, aligners move them into place and keep your natural teeth intact. If your teeth are well positioned but chipped, stained or oddly shaped, veneers reshape them. Many of the best smile makeovers use aligners first and then a small number of veneers, and the assessment tells you which your case needs.
How long do veneers last?
Porcelain veneers commonly last ten to fifteen years or more with good care, and composite veneers a shorter span before they may need refreshing. Avoiding habits like biting nails or ice, and wearing a night guard if you grind, extends their life considerably.
Will people be able to tell I have veneers?
Not when they are planned to suit your face and gum line rather than dropped in as a uniform white set. The shade and shape are matched so the result reads as good teeth, not obvious dental work, and you approve that look on DTS Pro before it is made.
Can I whiten my teeth instead?
Often, yes. If your teeth are well shaped and the issue is only colour, whitening is a simpler and more conservative option, and we will tell you if it will get you the result you want before suggesting veneers.
Where is the clinic and what are the timings?
