When should my child first see a dentist?
Around the first birthday, or when the first teeth appear. Early visits are short and about familiarity, which makes later treatment far easier.
Will my child feel pain?
The Starpen makes injections nearly imperceptible, and NOX nitrous is available for very anxious children. Most children come away saying it did not hurt.
Is laughing gas safe for children?
NOX nitrous analgesia is well established and wears off within minutes. We use it only when it helps a very anxious child, and always with a parent present.
Can I stay in the room?
Yes. Parents stay present for the entire visit.
What if my child has crooked teeth?
