The clinic

The Dental House opened on 13 March 2016 on Shell Colony Road in Chembur East — the same address it has occupied for a decade. The practice is on the second floor of The Central, a secure commercial building that has become a familiar landmark in the neighbourhood.

The name is deliberate. A house feels different from a clinic: quieter, calmer, without the antiseptic urgency of a hospital corridor. The rooms are bright, the equipment is named and modern, and the appointment runs on time. Patients who arrived anxious are the majority, which is why the physical space was designed before the clinical equipment was chosen.

In ten years the practice has treated more than 3,500 patients. Many of them are families — a parent came first, brought a child, then brought the rest of the household. The 4.9 rating from more than 730 Google reviews reflects a practice where the most common feedback is that the patient could not believe the treatment was as painless as it was.

What we believe about dentistry

We tell patients what we would tell a member of our own family. If the aligner case does not suit Dr Hitesh's clinical criteria, he says so and explains why braces are the better option. If whitening will solve the problem, Dr Niti will not sell veneers. Every service page on this website has a section titled "When we say no" — it is not a marketing device, it is the actual practice.

We publish prices. We publish the equipment we use by name. We explain what each piece of equipment does and why it changes the outcome. These are not marketing claims; they are verifiable facts that patients can check before they book.

The injection is where most dental anxiety lives. The Woodpecker Starpen, which delivers anaesthetic at a computer-controlled rate, removes the sharp sting of a conventional injection. NOX nitrous oxide sedation is available for patients who need more. These are not luxuries — they are what makes it possible for genuinely anxious patients to get the treatment they have been avoiding.
